Fics like And There Will Be No Ark

The guy leans the phone towards him. Swipes around with the thumb, the apps are barely moving. So Tyler takes his own but it too, it's clunky and frozen. It's lagging so much it doesn't even let him unlock it. "Mine too." "That's really o-" But when he turns to the stranger Tyler finds him staring wide eyed at the sky. So he looks up too. Green lines engraved in the sunset right in front of him- dots, lines, corners forming thick and neon, etched in the red-purple. So bright, so clear. Like someone is cutting the sky with a knife. Writing. It's an alphabet Tyler has never seen, if they're letters. They flicker. Some move. Takes them a while to stop, still, and not move anymore. And remain like chemical scars in the blueish dark. ---------------------------------------------------------- Mysterious alien symbols appear in the sunset sky, visible from every corner of the planet. Nobody knows what they mean, many wonder what the aliens want from Earth. Some wake up with a message for humanity.
