Fics like To a better tomorrow

“Father,” he started, doing his best to get a hold of his trembling voice. He didn't know what had happened, or why was he here. How that awful spirit had taken him from tha cold island to the heart of the Fire Nation. But there was one thing clear; he had broken his exile and he was now kneeling before his father; and he had to come up with the right set of words to be able to leave the room alive. The prince looked up, with tears in his eyes and trembling hands. “Forgive me for breaking my exile, but I…” Any excuse, any reasoning, any word at all that he might have thought to say immediately died in his throat, as the prince looked up and saw his own face. “Hello there.” he says looking at him with a soft smile. “It looks like you are a bit far from home.”
