Fics like Due Diligence

⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹ Malleus focused, shutting his eyes, he honed in on the subtle sounds that reverberated from the Ramshackle dorm. He heard heavy breathing, specifically from the rise and fall of Yuu’s chest, the rhythm of it almost erratic. Noises had spilled from in between their lips, the product of their harmony muffled from behind what Malleus could only sound out as a pillow of some sort. However, what was most striking was the soft ‘schlicks’ that seemed to come right before Yuu got vocal. These noises began shortly after Yuu had sent their farewells to their other peers— is this perhaps an intimate act? Malleus couldn’t help but think that perhaps there was a lingering sense of intimacy in Yuu’s odd noises, but this could also be a cry for help, no? After all, Yuu is all alone— and absolutely anything can happen to a magic-less mortal. Something inside Malleus’s head was ringing and clanging— telling him that he should investigate further. Just to make sure the child of man was… well. Malleus wearily waltzed just closer to the Ramshackle dorm before hearing a loud cry. “Ah…! Ooo—!” “…” Malleus stood silent. ⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
