"Basically, you're telling me you're an... alien?" Trixie finally let go of the hammer and flashlight. It was obvious that the girl wasn't a threat, although she stayed close to the weapon just in case. You never know. "Yes, an alien! That's what you call people who come from another planet, right? Of course, I'm an alien visiting your planet." *** Katya is a rebellious alien from Zoitonia who has always dreamed of visiting Earth, just like her mother did years ago. When she is sent on a mission to retrieve a mineral needed for the arrival of her planet’s sovereign, she finally gets the chance to make her dream come true. Trixie only wanted to play music with her band, escape her parents, and maybe find someone who could finally understand her. But when she meets Katya, she decides to help her complete her mission. What begins as a strange road trip filled with music, county fairs, Tumblr, secrets, and way too many feelings soon becomes something much more complicated. Maybe some people are only meant to be part of your life for a little while. Or maybe, sometimes, love is worth crossing galaxies for.
