Fics like The Grain of You

Fang is a food critic and amateur chef who knows his way around a kitchen better than his own heart. When his friend Pete asks him to review his struggling coffee shop, Fang expects a straightforward morning of espresso and notes. What he doesn't expect is the wiry, grey-stubbled carpenter who storms in, orders black coffee like it's a threat, and leaves without looking back. Izzy is a custom furniture maker who trusts wood more than people, and he has no patience for soft-eyed critics who stare too long. But Fang has never been good at walking away from something that makes him feel alive-and Izzy, for all his sharp edges, is the most alive thing Fang has ever seen. OR I did the modern coffee shop AU. I know it is overused but I couldn't help myself.
