- Kurt thinks he knows what he is agreeing to when his best friend asks him to go with her to a family wedding as her fake boyfriend. Her pleas are simple enough. Hold her hand? They already do this. Charm her wealthy and opinionated relatives? Sure. He’s a creative director for high-profile clients; he can handle it. Survive an extravagant destination wedding at a vineyard in Greece? Not a burden. Keep up a ruse that will prevent anyone from asking Sophie about her love life in New York? He’ll fiercely protect her truth. He’s confident that he can manage eight days away on a free vacation with his best friend. That is until an unfairly handsome man strides into the welcome reception and their eyes meet across the terrace. And now he’s tangled up at Vrysi Estate, with paths leading past neighboring bungalows, family dinners stretching late into the nights, and every secret has to survive almost a hundred guests with nowhere else to go. As desire, family expectations, and two lives begin crowding the same space, Kurt must decide what he’s willing to risk for something he never expected to find. [This story is completely rough drafted and will post as I edit the chapters.] -
