Fics like "Dude" But Like Romantically

Sometimes life kicks ass so hard in the bad way that you start suspecting you’re secretly in on one of those messed up prank shows they air on TV. Gerard Way is Frank’s best friend’s older brother. He should’ve been in 12th grade by now, but apparently, last year was rough. Like, really rough. Rough enough to make school the last thing on his mind and somehow land him right back here, in 11th grade. Frank has been to Mikey’s house far too many times to count, but he’s never really talked to his brother. Hell, he’s barely even noticed him. Why would he? Gerard is older, keeps mostly to himself, and, according to Mikey, is a fucking dork. The problem is, ever since Gerard started showing up in Frank’s classes, Frank has started noticing him, among other things. More than he would like to admit. Like the way Gerard mostly talks out of one corner of his mouth, and how he gestures with his hands while doing so. Or the way Frank’s stomach does something deeply humiliating every time the two of them so much as make eye contact. Which would all be fine. Probably.
