Fics like A Text Barely Sent

"And here was Tim’s number, sitting right on the paper in front of him. The idea of texting him—it hurt, Bernard couldn’t lie. Mostly because he knew a guy like Tim Drake-Wayne had probably swapped his number some time after joining the family of a billionaire who everybody wanted to get close to. He couldn’t just have the same number he used to use for ordering pizza from the Mom and Pop place down the street in high-school. But then again, if the Children were right, then that was exactly why he should do it. That was what they were all about. Finding meaning in chaos and pain, not in peace that didn’t even exist." Or Bernard finds Tim's number while preparing to fully join the Children of Dionysus. When he sends his text, he doesn't expect to get a response. Happy five years of Timber!!!
