Fics like Where Love Leaves a Mark (And Everything That Followed)

After the Tuna Melt incident, weeks pass without a single word between Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. Both are hurting in different ways, but neither of them is willing to take the first step. Shane convinces himself that moving on is the right thing to do. He starts dating Rose Laundry, hoping that maybe time and distance will finally be enough to let go of the one person he can never seem to forget. Ilya chooses a different path. Unable to outrun the emptiness left behind, he buries himself in alcohol, parties, and drugs, desperately trying to silence thoughts that only grow louder whenever he's alone. When both teams travel to London for the All-Star Games, fate hands them one last chance to say everything they've been avoiding. Neither of them takes it. What follows is a chain of events that will change both of their lives forever. Or: Shane is trying to convince himself he's happy. Ilya is trying to convince himself he doesn't care anymore. They're both lying. Add an All-Star Game in London, terrible communication and a spectacular inability to deal with feelings and nothing can possibly go wrong... right?
