The wattage of his smile is turned up so high it’s like the sun breaking through heavy cloud, dazzling bright. Sangnuea feels blinded by it. He smiles back at Phatsa, helplessly – then lets out a little oof when he’s immediately tackled onto his back by an armful of affectionate Omega. He laughs as Phatsa wriggles himself into the best position to get his entire face up against Sangnuea’s neck, and Sangnuea knows it’s innocent, that it’s just a comfort thing for Phatsa – that he doesn’t really have much of a pack here in this house full of cold, distant strangers, and his body’s seeking reassurance from the nearest other body it can trust, a safe Omega who smells familiar – but it still feels so shameless somehow. Overly-intimate, taboo. Phatsa invites Sangnuea over for a sleepover, and takes the opportunity to ask some questions about the changes his body is going through since he realised he was an Omega. Sangnuea gives him a hands-on lesson in Omega biology, with much gentle patience, softness and snuggling.
