Fics like Crusader Khans of the Golden Horde

The Mongols, the Scourge of God. The destroyers of Khwarazm and the subduers of Jin China. And yet Orda, Batu, Berke, and Shiban, the sons of the late Jochi, are struggling with the question of their father’s own paternity, so often questioned by their uncle Chagatai. The Crusader Knights, the sword of God’s will. The founders of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, the Principality of Antioch, and the Counties of Edessa and Tripoli in the holy land of Outremer. And yet, ever since the advent of Saladin, the states of Outremer have been in contraction, and those knights who answer to the sign of the cross have been forced to find other causes to fight for. It would have been madness to assume that such differing peoples with such differing circumstances would intersect and intercede…until the existence of the Scythian Catholic Church came about, and the fruits of the late Jochi’s labor of reaching out for external aid from these ‘Crusaders’ came to fruition.
