Healy keeps asking March for little favors. March doesn't mind it. In fact, they're about the only thing he's sure he's good for. Most of them are small: feeding his fish, passing him tools. You get the gist. It takes March embarrassingly long to realize Healy isn't asking because he needs the help. And even longer to notice he's being taken care of, until it's too late to pretend otherwise. Or, the one where March likes being useful, in more ways than one. And Healy, sharper than he lets on, watches March come back to himself, one trivial task at a time.
