Fics like I'd touch you if I dare, and there'll be angels everywhere

“Scared to show yourself to me because you’re scared of getting exorcised like you should be?” the priest taunts. In the back of his head he knows it is a pointless endeavour. He would need a lot more than he has right now to even begin addressing what The Doorman is. “Is that why you address me through veiled telepathy?” The cackle he gets in response is so profoundly grating that it feels like sandpaper on his bones. Or like transient paresthesia, but all along his spine. “No amount of bullets or stakes you have ever had or ever will have can take me on, Father Quinn,” he taunts back, after calming his roaring laughter, “and to call it telepathy is to oversimplify my nature,” he boasts. “Fortunately, I am not here to fight you, Your Reverence.” In which The Doorman is very interested in the Venator.
