Fics like The Promise

Suffering was something you were used to, but you found a glimmer of joy in that place, with not only the employees, but a certain AI that stole your heart ever since you put on that busted headset. Shortly after Pomni's arrival, another human popped up, and much to Caine's surprise and delight, she loves the circus! But what happens when she doesn't want to leave? When she befriends the eccentric ringmaster, and their friendship develops into something deeper...something completely unexpected. *This story covers all the events from ep 2-3 through to 9 and a bit after so spoilers ahead!*
