Fics like yeah, he's a real loose cannon (but i'm needin' one!)

A new Archivist takes the position. Elias thinks that he'll be the perfect target for his grand plans—a man with no knowledge of the supernatural beyond his singular interaction with the Web at a young age, easily manipulated and completely oblivious. Jonathan Sims will be a perfect harbinger. Except Elias has missed something pretty important. A few pretty important things, actually. One, that Jon's been an Eye Avatar since university. Two, that he got the Magnus Institute job specifically to feed on statements. And three, that he's got an entire groupchat of Avatar friends willing to fuck shit up for him. Not to mention that two of the archival assistants—including the one HE assigned—are also Avatars, with their own Avatar friends. This apocalypse scheme is fucked. aka tma crack chatfics my beloved. tma oops all avatar fics my beloved. i've smushed together my favorite tropes from these two genres and have created a monstrosity. its beautiful title from Stealing the Keys to the Time Machine by Waitress.
