Fics like Shifting Perspectives

Endless different universes lived and died, each one splitting into whole other ones where something happened just slightly differently. In one, magic ran rampant throughout the universe, wild and free and terrible in its power and majesty. In another, magic only existed within stories, to fill readers with a sense of hope and wonder. In another world, there was nothing. No light, no dark, no up nor down, not even a sense of self. We recommend you avoid that one, it’s ruled by a perverted asshole who is just as likely to throw you out as he is to mess with your mind till you taste the color purple. In one particular universe, humans evolved…differently. A harsher world led its inhabitants to grow in ways that allowed them to quickly adapt to any challenges their world threw at them. Over time, this ability allowed them to become the dominant species in their planet, as they had in many other worlds. This was a world of fangs and claws, of instinct and invention….a world of Shifting Perspectives.
