Just the time it takes for Elder Faerie Cookie's accusation to land, for eyes to turn toward him, for terror to claw its way up and choke him — just the time it takes to realise that there is no returning from this, that the life he'd stolen for himself is gone, gone, and he is trapped, cornered, the walls closing in, the desperation that'd clawed at him throughout his imprisonment resurfacing, and he wants out, wants away, wants— Escape. Go check them out on tumblr! (also, on the previous fic, the crispia chapter of this series - dw, it's still being updated, I just decided to do Beast Yeast concurrently! I'm v impatient lol)
