Fics like Pokémon: World Coronation

After becoming the Champion of Alola, Ash realized that his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master and earning a Championship title were two entirely different feats. He's almost there, all he really needs to do is compete in the Masters Eight Tournament, and defeat the strongest trainer alive. Simple right? Wrong! Not only is the newly crowned Alolan Champion feeling the pressure, but he's begun to notice things that he really hadn't before. Namely the fact that he was feeling lonely. Which doesn't make sense to him, considering he's always surrounded by his friends. Ash, however, is very quick to figure out that the loneliness he's feeling has nothing to do with his friends...well, not all of them, anyway. It's also hard to figure out his place in a world that seems to be moving ten steps forward whenever he leaves on a new journey.
