Fics like to mend a shattered soul

In the wake of her defeat of Voldemort, Marianne “Mari” Potter has lost much of her magic and travels to Japan in search of a mythical wish-granting jewel that can help her reclaim it. Unfortunately, she isn't the only person who desires it, and in the fight to claim it's power the legendary jewel is shattered into hundreds of fragments, each one a terrible weapon in the wrong hands. In order to collect the shards and re-form the jewel, Mari teams up with the brash half-demon Inuyasha and Higurashi Kagami, her own teenaged reincarnation from the not too distant future. As their quest continues Mari must decide whether regaining her power is really worth the cost of tainting her soul.
