Fics like The Daemonsmith of Fujikasane.
At the foothills of Mount Fujikasane in Yamanashi, a legend circulates among the slayers of the Demon Slayer Corps. They speak of a creature, a hermit, a thing closer to a demon than a man, dwelling deep within the mountain's natural caverns, far removed from the path of the initiates undergoing the Final Selection. The legend is vague, describing a small, stocky being with bulging veins, soot-stained skin, and tusks piercing through its cheeks. He bears no name, though some nickname him "Kobi no Iwa"—the Mountain Dwarf. Yet the creature cares nothing for humans, the Hashira, or the Corps. He cares only for one thing: his forge, his hammer, and the hunt for fuel to feed the furnace hidden within the bowels of Fujikasane. Unlike others of his kind, he takes direct action: he hunts demons for his own gain, driven by an insatiable greed for power. Armed with chains of black fire, a bayoneted musket forged of dark iron, and his own arsenal of sorcerous curses, Azharr-Kül—his true name—stands ready to claim the souls and blood of Muzan's Upper and Lower Moons. And, if the Father of Darkness blesses his path, Muzan himself...
