Fics like Not if it’s You

After Sukuna, after Yuuji and Megumi both have their bodies back, they have to deal with the fallout. They have to deal with the nightmares, with the dissociation, and with the feelings they’ve tamped down since the beginning because too much was going on. It’s wretched work, hiding pills and knives, trying to look out for signs that the other hides as much as they can. It’s horrible, wanting to sleep forever rather than be woken by nightmares one more time, but curled in each other’s arms maybe it’ll be a bit more bearable. Maybe it’ll be ok if they can sleep. Maybe they’ll be ok if they have each other. It’s what they cling to when Yuuji combs through Megumi’s hair, and Megumi grips Yuuji’s shirt. It’s what they cling to when they cling to each other.
