Fics like The Lotus That Refused to Sink | Jiang Cheng x OC

Wu Luxia promised Madam Yu she would protect Lotus Pier. She promised Yanli she would protect her. In the end, all she has left is a child who calls her aunt and a man she cannot bear to look at. Raised under the sharp eye of Madam Yu, orphan Wu Luxia fought for every scrap of recognition, training until her blade could rival even Wei Wuxian's. When Lotus Pier burned, she bound her life to Jiang Yanli's safety, marching into the Sunshot Campaign as a ruthless general to secure a future for the Jiang Sect. But war demands a toll. Through an unwanted marriage, a devastating miscarriage, and the ashes of the Burial Mounds, Luxia survives the fall of everyone she loved. Now, left to raise Jin Ling in a broken world, she must navigate the heavy silence between herself and Jiang Cheng-two ghosts haunted by the same grief. Disclaimer: I do not own Mo Dao Zu Shi. All canon characters, lore, and core plot points belong to Moxiang Tongxiu. Wu Luxia and her specific character arc, personal history, and subplots are my own original creations. I hope you enjoy this fan fiction as much as I did writing it! Enjoy!
