Fics like You’re a big boy now

For four years, Robert Lewandowski was Gavi's anchor. He was the one who pulled him out of post-match brawls, fixed his messy collar, and kept him grounded when the world expected him to burn out. To everyone else, Gavi was the relentless pitbull of FC Barcelona. To Robert, he was just his boy—and Gavi had fallen completely, helplessly in love with him somewhere along the way. But when Robert's transfer to Chicago Fire becomes reality, Gavi's world shatters. Faced with their final hours in Catalonia together, Gavi has to realize that taking their time for granted was his biggest mistake—and that growing up means letting go.
