Fics like fighting my way up to your tongue (so i can die up on it)

Pittsburgh, 2001-2025. Cassie McKay is eighteen, twenty-eight, thirty-six, forty-two, and stumbling through time. Tripping over the years and the months and wondering when the finish line will finally come into view. But every once in a while, every turn of the year or the decade, she’ll see a girl—a girl Cassie knows she’s never met before, but she could swear she remembers her from somewhere. Sometime. But that’s impossible, isn’t it? London, 1819. Victoria Javadi is a young woman caged in her mother’s perfect life, searching desperately to break free. And when her family settles in England, Victoria finally gets a way out in the form of an idyllic noblewoman who promises her freedom beyond her wildest dreams. Turned into a new world and left completely on her own, Victoria is stranded in time to fend for herself—until she meets a troubled, frenzied girl at a college party in Pittsburgh and finally finds the companion she’s spent centuries looking for. (mcvadi vampire au: following victoria’s winding odyssey through vampirism as she learns the nooks and crannies of time/cassie’s journey through life as it gets better and worse and better again, while somehow seeing the same familiar face at every corner.)
