"It might be different if Felix were a stranger, someone Chan saw at a bar or at the grocery store, or even if he was just Jungsoo's friend (though, Chan will admit, he's never once found Jungsoo's friends to be nearly as attractive as he finds Felix, but that's neither here nor there), but he's not. Felix is Jungsoo's boyfriend. His boyfriend of nearly five years. Will probably be his fiance soon, if Chan lets himself be optimistic; he's heard Felix talk about it plenty of times before, casual mentions of "when we get engaged" that created a pain in Chan's heart he refused to acknowledge. Felix is good for Jungsoo; he cooks for him, bakes him the most delicious treats, supports his hobbies and dreams, and challenges him when it's needed. Chan has seen firsthand how Felix is, without a doubt, the best boyfriend his son has ever had. The perfect omega. The things Chan has thought about Felix in the privacy of his bedroom is to stay between himself and God, thank you very much." Or: Chan's son cheats on his boyfriend, Felix, who Chan is secretly in love with. Things sort themselves out from there.
