Fics like I'd stop the world (and melt with you)

"Look, I know we didn't exactly end things on a great note, but does that have to mean we can't actually be friends anymore?" He looks at Tim, forces him to meet his eyes. They're soft, the light blue deep and earnest. "I miss you." "You're the one who said I was too clingy," he finally manages, dropping his gaze down to his takeout container. "I've just been giving you what you wanted." Kon frowns, but he doesn't argue, taking another bite of his food. Tim had spent a long time, between crying his heart out over pints of ice cream in Dick's apartment and aggressively taking his emotions out on the scum of Gotham, replaying their last fight over and over and over in his head. Kon had called Tim clingy and needy. Said dealing with his constant need for emotional validation was exhausting. In turn, Tim had accused him of never taking anything seriously, of only caring about how Tim felt when he wanted something, of being jealous and insecure. That was two years ago, though. Tim moved on.
