Fics like Toss a Coin to Your Hero

“I think I’m dead?” he says. "Yep. Welcome to the entrance to the Underworld. One boat ride to eternal rest is only one obol," Please Pick A Name For Your Hero Can one defeat prophecy? Of course not. Oedipus’ parents tried. We all know what happened to that poor mf. Danae’s dad did too, keeping her caged so her son wouldn’t defeat him. And guess what Perseus did. And didn’t Cassandra say that if they let Paris in, Troy would fall? And what happened to Troy? Exactly. Future is prewritten. Every hero comes to learn this bitter fact, but every oracle is already aware. That doesn’t mean they never try to challenge the Fates. Now the Crooked One is about to escape his prison, and Earth wakes, and the Emperors are plotting and they know what’s gonna happen. The oracles are dead. They don’t need to be poking fate to find a weak spot anymore it’s just… an oracle that should’ve have joined them is in an attic, and they’ve told Hades to let her go but why are they even wasting their breath in this day and age. And the only weak spot they found is under the careful watch of the Lord of the Dead but he will be weakened without that Helm.
