Suns fireball didn't kill Nexus, rather it forcefully purged his system of all of his Negative Star energy. He was dragged back to their dimension kicking and screaming... and it soon became obvious that he was far beyond their ability to help. So they found a Psychiatric Facility and committed him, with the hope that this might be the right help he desperately needs... Unfortunately, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
