Fics like cursed by the love that i received

“James, please.” Regulus whispers out after what it feels like a century, his voice cracking pathetically at the desperate plea. “Say something.” “Are you sure?” That’s what James settles for asking. “That I’m pregnant or that it’s yours?” Regulus doesn’t know what to do with the silence he gets in return. He blinks away the tears, swallows around the lump in his throat and stiffly answers, “Yes, James, I’m sure… about both.” “Merlin.” James whispers hoarsely under his breath and slides his hands in his messy curls, tugging it a few times with so much force that it must hurt. Regulus can’t bring himself to tell him to stop doing it. He can’t bring himself to do anything other than just sit there, stare at his horrified seventeen year old boyfriend and listen as I’m pregnant I'm sixteen I’m pregnant my parents are going to kill me I’m pregnant wails in his head like a siren. (or, a universe, where Regulus finds out he's carrying his and James' baby in the midst of war with Voldemort. Where do they go from there?)
