Fics like Exiles on Etheria

When a new portal emerges on Etheria and Hordak fails to enter it in time, he comes across a tiny child beneath where the vortex was spiraling. It was a castaway, same as him, and though he did not understand his urge, he vowed to protect his fellow exile as best as he could on this frustrating, magical world. And hopefully, in time, they may return to their universe someday. Surely by then, he will not grow attached to this child like his own daughter, right? ----- Hordak finds Adora at the portal and instead of giving her to Shadow Weaver, takes her under his wing. And maybe becomes a changed man because of that.
