Fics like Sinkhole

“Okay, John. I’m going to have you scoot back so you’re sitting all the way at the edge of the bed…A little closer to me...Tilt your head forward…Good.” Now that the boy’s back is right in front of Peter, he can see the knobs of his spine and rungs of his ribs through the opening of the hospital gown. The skin stretching over them looks sheer, barely concealing the sharp angles protruding underneath. Peter wants to run his palm over the expanse, as though he is smoothing out the creases on a rumpled sheet. -- AU fic - John Carter is a college wrestler. Peter Benton is a third year medical student. They cross paths when John comes to the ER as a patient.
