Fics like did I take you by surprise?

"Superman," the Dark Knight nods, beckoning him to stand up. All eyes turn to the Kryptonian. He visibly gulps as he makes his way from his seat to the front of the conference table, right next to Batman. One pair of anxious eyes meets a lens-covered (though no less anxious) one, and Bruce's heart is pounding. He somehow breaks through his own carefully-crafted shell to intertwine his fingers with Clark's. "Batman and I have an announcement," he starts. Someone audibly gasps. OR: Bruce and Clark have been together for nearly thirty years. It's probably time to tell their closest friends about it. OR OR: My obligatory "Justice League finds out about SuperBat" fic!!
