Fics like D-16, He's STRONGGGG

D-16 has been Orion Pax's best friend ever since they both came online. Pax knows — has observed over countless rotations, quartexes, cycles — that D's strong. You kind of have to be, working in the mines. But D — Pax has noticed, has logged, whether by his own volition or by something else he buried down cycles ago — is STRONG. Like, strong, strong. Exceptionally so in the physical department, over the average bot, even in their cogless state. D is simply on another level. To what extent? Orion Pax has no idea. But he's always been too curious for his own good. ...And if the search triggers his spark to thump, his helm to spin, and his ventilation systems to work overtime — well, those are just side-effects — every good discovery has those.
