The warrior who carries the world is rescued before he is burned away, whisked away to a regenerative cradle and an inescapable cage at the edge of the world. The girl who watches over time receives the chance to finally regain everything she has lost. The ancient Worldbearer, who has silently observed, remembered, and mourned, steels his resolve for the ultimate sacrifice. And the heroes from beyond the sky join hands with the Chrysos Heirs to ensure that no one is ever forgotten again—especially not the two who had defied fate for eternities. –- Phainon accepted his fate as Irontomb’s casket, ready to shatter to atone for his many, many sins, and to finally be freed from his eternal suffering. But to Kephale, who has watched over their successor for as long as he has suffered, that ending is unacceptable. So they set out to save the Deliverer... ...even if they must herald the calamity themself. Or: An AU that diverges from the end of 3.4 and focuses on Phainon and Cyrene while exploring a scenario where Kephale becomes an active player in Amphoreus’ fate.
