Baran couldn’t forget their distinctive features, the green in their eyes, framed by smoky eyeliner, that pierced through the bright stage lights, or the sharp jawline that she followed down and around their soft face. The music halted; she blinked and was now back and aware of the production in front of her, closing her mouth that she just realized was ajar.
