It’s interesting, in a strange way. How someone’s life can change with a single decision: a new job move, trying a new coffee shop, reaching out to people, speaking up, staying silent, sticking with the known, trying something new, life experiences, death. Every second, every decision, every moment, our lives are changing. For better or worse, forever, for everyone, it’s interesting. Your day started with the new job, officially a doctor, an intern at The Pitt. It started with a nervous excitement buzzing beneath every breath. It ended, of course, in blood. Fortunately, it wasn’t yours. Fortunately, you weren’t alone. Fortunately, tomorrow still exists. At least you hope.
