What if the prophecy was broken long before it could truly start? With two higher beings so busy fighting over which version of this tale was "right" they failed to even notice their peons had toppled the board. --- Noelle Holiday was a smart girl and knew that her teacher was going to throw a group project on them right before the festival started. She also knew that Kris would be late and would most likely ask for a pencil (the candy-cane one) And she knew for sure that Susie, the girl of her dreams, would be even later than them, get into trouble and then she could offer to go to the closet with her and then accidentally- "Nah," The tall, purple lizard said in a casual tone before calmly walking to her seat, completely ignoring Ms. Alphys' threat of punishment, as fake as it was. None of her classmates said anything or even tried giving a hint that they disapproved of the girl's actions. The teacher gave a defeated sigh before turning to them, "Kris, Noelle, could you please go fetch the chalk for me?" "...Huh?" --- Or, what if Noelle and Kris were the first to fall into the Dark Worlds? (Oh, and there's also a ton more worldbuilding and lore, but that's not important~)
