Fics like Phantom Limb

You know the story by now. Peter Parker, just a teen when he was bitten by a genetically altered spider on a field trip and gained amazing powers. Now a web-slinging hero, he spends most nights trying to keep crime down in the city that never sleeps. He loves what he does, really, but sometimes he wishes he could spend more time with the boy he loves. And maybe the new girl that he and Harry just can’t seem to get out of their heads. Harry Osborn had an easy life. Until, of course, his father went full villain, tried to kill his boyfriend, and he learned his whole family's company had been working on inhumane research. He spends the day trying to reclaim his family name for something good, something his mom would be proud of. And he was just getting content with his life again before this beautiful redhead came crashing into their lives. Melanie Connors thought long and hard about her return to New York. She hoped that being away for a few years, maybe her dad's priorities had changed, but she came back to find him in the lab like always, well, except for his new lab assistant, Peter Parker. For some reason, Melanie can’t help but think maybe being in the city this time will be different.
