Fics like I’ll Believe in Anything

Danielle Marsh was getting everything she ever wanted. She had a loving financé, a successful career, a supportive best friend, and a nice apartment overlooking the gorgeous cityscape with just enough room to house her art studio. As Danielle began managing wedding affairs, she decided to do an early search, commissioning the assistance of a friend who works at an architecture firm to begin the design plans for her and her fiancé’s future home. When the fine artist walked into the firm building, she was surprised to bump into a familiar face, one that took her back to her high school and university days in Seoul. A woman who, 8 years prior, left her for a promising job in Japan. Kang Haerin, now one of the most sought-after architects from Tokyo, had been appointed specifically to cater to Danielle’s requests. As time went on, Haerin’s presence began breaking down the walls Danielle had painstakingly built since the former’s departure from her life. Danielle’s wedding was fast approaching, and any doubts she had silenced as the years passed have come rushing back like a freight train with no means of a definite arrival.
