Fics like M.A.N.T.I.S.: The Legend Continues

Izumi Midoriya was told her entire life that being Quirkless meant she could never become a hero. They were wrong. After a childhood tragedy leaves her injured and her faith in hero society shattered, Izumi leaves Japan and begins a new life surrounded by science, engineering, and a father who believes in her potential. Then she discovers the legacy of Dr. Miles Hawkins. Years later, Izumi returns to Japan carrying the inheritance of a forgotten genius, a fortune built across generations, and technology the world has forgotten. Hidden beneath the ocean lies M.A.N.T.I.S. A machine designed to adapt. A creation built to evolve. A legend waiting to rise again. Now Izumi Midoriya intends to prove what the world refused to believe: A hero is not defined by the power they are given. A hero is defined by what they choose to become.
