Fics like change the weather

He glares at Holly, but she just shrugs, forcing him to answer the phone with a blunt, "Who's asking?" "I'm calling as a representative of the Arizona Police Department, Mr. March. There's been an incident which concerns your family." "What?" March hasn't been to Arizona. Not in over a decade, and he's pretty confident that unless this woman is talking about a brief stint where he got into a bar confrontation in Phoenix in the 60s, or Holly's been up to some crazy shit without him knowing, she's got the wrong Holland March. "Sir, am I correct in assuming that you were named by your sister as the emergency guardian for her children in late October of 1963 or not?" She exhales. "There's been an incident regarding the children's father, Mr. March." *** Or: Things are finally starting to look up in Holland March's life. Until a call regarding March's estranged family, a murder case being obscured, and his two heavily-traumatised nephews, bursts that bubble. So much for normalcy.
