Fics like scenes from the cottage

This has been, without a doubt, one of the weirdest and most wonderful days of Ilya Rozanov’s whole entire life. This morning, he woke up alone in his bed in Boston, and now he’s ending the day standing awkwardly in the bedroom of Shane Hollander’s “fortress of solitude” in some random fucking Ontario forest, watching through the bathroom doorway as his… lover, maybe?… gets ready for bed. ... “Do you, um,” Ilya says, trying his damnedest to remind himself that this is nothing like their ill-fated sleepover last fall, and he can, in fact, be normal about this, “do you have particular side of the bed you like to sleep on?” — (or, just a bunch of little scenes I cooked up from their first time at the cottage that weren't in the show or book.)
