Fics like God, keep my head above water (don't let me drown, it gets harder)

“How long?” Luis asks, his voice somewhere between researcher mode and completely fucking terrified. “Luis–” “How long?” Luis repeated, locking eyes with him sternly. “A few weeks. Started with a cough.” Leon says, trying to avoid his gaze. “A few weeks? I need you to be specific, Leon.” Luis says shakily. “Four. Four weeks.” Leon admits, already anticipating his husband getting angry at him for hiding his illness. “Four wee— Leon! You've been hiding an unidentified illness from me for four weeks?” Luis gasps, tears springing to his eyes. Or Leon fight through the horrors of Requiem with one constant goal: Survive this new nightmare and get home to his husband, but as Raccoon City Syndrome ravages his body, it gets harder and harder to keep his head above the water, even moreso when the demons of his past come back to haunt him with an unexpected return to Racoon City.
