Buck’s eyes flutter up at Eddie sleepily. He feels— Eddie’s thumb rests on Buck’s bottom lip, and Buck feels his mouth drop open, just a little, in response. —he feels fuzzy-headed and warm. There’s something banked in Eddie’s eyes when he looks up into them, and the moment between them suspends into something…. He’s not sure he has the right word for it. Intense? …Electric? Eddie’s eyes trace the shape of his mouth, and Buck’s breath hitches as he gently touches his tongue to the tip of Eddie’s thumb. The high points of Eddie’s cheek flush a charming pink, and then his eyes flick up to Buck’s again— —and he presses his thumb into Buck’s mouth. He eases it in, nudging Buck’s jaw wider, thumb pressing down against his tongue as he watches, rubbing his thumb over the slick heat of it. “Gorgeous,” Eddie breathes.
