Fics like Your Life, My Inconvenience

“Stop saving my life,” He ordered. He didn’t need Merlin, a druid and a sorcerer, rushing in to save his life every time he was in danger. He was a prince, a knight, he had been trained to fight and kill since he was a child. He didn’t need someone else running in to save him, and he certainly didn’t need someone else saving him using magic. Merlin tilted his head like he was actually considering it for a moment, then grinned. “No.” Arthur was starting to get the feeling that Merlin could probably beat Morgana on stubbornness if he really felt like it. *** Merlin grew up among the druids, learning his magic from the elders there, from the other magic users who filled the camp. When he was older, he left for Camelot, looking for a way to free his people from their persecution. And to find the blond haired boy magic had been showing him since he was a child.
