Fics like my glory will live forever

“You did good, baby,” Josh tells him, low and secret, just for the two of them in their little world under Jalen’s towel. “You did it, JB. We did it. All this is for you.” Jalen’s eyes flicker up, huge and wet and god, he forgets during playoff season how much Jalen hides himself, how much Jalen feels, his eyes giving everything away every time. Josh has no poker face—what you see is what you get when you look at him. Jalen does, but only because he feels so hard and so deep it cracks him open every time. After the win, Josh and Jalen try to carve out the time to celebrate. Josh does some self reflecting. Jalen just wants to feel real.
