Fics like Gargoyles and Angels

"I must remind you all that monitoring a young lady from the rooftops while wearing tactical Kevlar is not considered proper courtship in any civilized nation." — Alfred Pennyworth Heartbroken by the betrayal of her friends in Paris and suffocated by Adrien’s advice to "take the high road," seventeen-year-old Marinette Dupain-Cheng escapes to Gotham City for the summer. Seeking solace in the dead of night, she sneaks onto the scenic, light-filled rooftop of her Uncle Jagged’s penthouse to secretly dance out her grief. She thinks she's entirely alone—until Damian Wayne spots her through his binoculars. Transfixed by her grace, Robin slips up and mutters the word "angel" over a fully active, unmuted Bat-frequency. One chaotic sibling brawl, a flustered midnight painting session, and a rogue Great Dane later, Damian finds himself standing in a sunlit park, face-to-face with the mysterious barefoot dancer who has just completely upended his world.
