Eight years after his twin sister’s death, Min Yoongi hasn't moved on. While his parents seem content to pretend she never existed and his siblings have resigned themselves to never knowing the truth, Yoongi still obsesses over the sudden and tragic death of his twin. His relentless investigation has led him to the conclusion that she was murdered, but one major obstacle keeps him from proving it: the likeliest culprit, the second prince of the Kingdom, is nigh untouchable. So when Yoongi unexpectedly receives a marriage proposal from the Crown Prince, he seizes the opportunity for closer investigation. Never mind that Yoongi has spent years dodging marriage. Never mind that nobody knows anything about the Crown Prince except that he has two children and that the death of his first wife drove him to seclusion. Never mind that the only reason for the proposal is the King’s impending death, and that if Yoongi consents to this marriage, he will have to become Queen. Never mind that, eight years ago, the event that sparked tragedy was the betrothal of Yoongi’s sister to the second prince. Yoongi is determined to see this through and bring justice to his sister once and for all.
