Fics like The Cartoon Movie

The narrative captures the classic "road trip" trope, reimagined through a surreal, cartoon-crossover lens. After meeting a talent agent named Bernie, Oswald leaves his peaceful forest life to pursue fame and happiness in Hollywood. Along his cross-country journey, he encounters a ragtag group of misfits and fellow performers—including Pete the Bear, the Cattanooga Cats, Pooch and Poodles, and Wally Gator. Together, they face numerous obstacles, including the villainous Brutus the Wolf and his scheme to turn cartoon characters into fast-food products, as well as the eccentric mind-control villain Professor Krassman. The group overcomes these threats through teamwork, courage, and a shared belief in their dream.
