Fics like fed plenty

The fig is tender, and the inside yields easily under his teeth, staining them pink as cold sweetness flows on his tongue. The cracks of the skin bubble and burst under the pressure. His fingers are kind of pink now, and sugary juice seeps down his fingers, sticky, into the sink. Rivulets draw down the metal, into the drain. He swallows. Thinking about poetry when doing something as simple as eating a fig seems a tad pretentious. Reza does it anyway.
